Environmental Defence has developed a set of benchmarks and tools to meet this pledge.

Environmental Defence’s Toxic Ten Ingredients:

• Artificial Musk

• Phthalates

• Petrolatum

• Formaldehyde releasing agents: quaternium-15, 1,4-dioxane

• Parabens

• 1,4-dioxane, contaminant in Sodium Laureth Sulfate

• Silicone chemicals: Cyclomethicone, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane

• Coal Tar-derived colours
